Alison Slattery is an Ireland-born, Montréal-based food photographer. She has worked with some of Canada’s best chefs, restaurants, publications and industry tastemakers and shot this issue’s cover subjects (The Creators).

Sameer Farooq is a Toronto-based artist of Pakistani and Ugandan Indian descent. Farooq puts community-based knowledge at the forefront and has exhibited at institutions around the world. He contributed our Artist’s Block.
